Exoneree Keynote at Quattrone Center Event

We were honored to join with our friends at the Quattrone Center for their annual symposium this Spring. Shareef Cousin, Witness to Innocence member and exoneree who was wrongfully convicted and spent 3 years on death row in Louisiana, delivered a keynote address for the Quattrone Center's symposium"From Anguish to Action: Improving Criminal System Accuracy."

The symposium brought together researchers, policymakers, and those impacted by the justice system to discuss enhancing accuracy and fairness. Topics included improving police interviews/eyewitness IDs and addressing failures-to-appear.The event aimed to identify evidence-based solutions for improving integrity in the U.S. criminal justice system.
