Supreme Court Case Could Determine Fate of Innocent People on Death Row



Today, the Supreme Court is set to hear two cases from Arizona. The Court's decision regarding these cases could affect the Sixth Ammendment right to effective assistance of counsel, making it substantially more difficult for innocent people to be exonerated. Since 1973, there has been 186 formerly incarcerated people who were found innocent after having been sentenced to death, ten of whom were in Arizona. Read more
