International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

On International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, WTI death row exonerees stand in solidarity with other survivors, their families and communities everywhere. The 166 death row exonerees in the US - Innocent people who have been wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death - are among this group of survivors. WTI is dedicated to supporting them in their daily lives after exoneration and to ending the death penalty so that no one else will experience the same torture. We thank the United Nations Voluntary Fund for the Victims of Torture for their powerful leadership in this work worldwide.
