Joel Osteen shares Sabrina Butler-Smith's story

During a service, Joel Osteen shared the story of Sabrina Butler-Smith's wrongful conviction and her experience being sentenced to death as a teenager. In his talk about maintaining hope while going through hardship, Osteen shared the conversation that his wife had with Sabrina. Sabrina hoped that sharing her story would help other young people who might get caught up in the criminal justice system and educate people about the dangers of wrongful convictions and the issues with the death penalty.
