Keeping Up With WTI's Virtual Events

Check out the latest events from Witness to Innocence speakers:

On April 28th, Sabrina Butler-Smith spoke to a wrongful convictions class at George Mason University in Virginia. Sabrina shared her story of wrongful conviction and answered questions from students about her path to exoneration and how she remains hopeful as she works to support others who have been unjustly incarcerated. After hearing Sabrina speak, one student said, “I have learned so much about issues that I had no idea existed.” The professor shared, “The students and I loved it—and her. She is very inspirational…We are so thankful.”

On May 4th, Ray Krone spoke to a journalism class of about 20 students at the University of Arizona. Students had researched his wrongful conviction for a school project. Students asked Ray questions about his case and the media coverage he received.
