"Powerful. Puts the work and power of prosecutors in perspective." That was the reaction of one participant in a WTI led Accuracy & Justice workshop in Baltimore, Maryland in May which included State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby, the Conviction Integrity Unit, and approximately 400 criminal justice practitioners in the State Attorney's office. WTI's Accuracy & Justice program brings together exonerated death row survivors and criminal justice practitioners in facilitated workshops about the causes of wrongful convictions and potential strategies for enhancing conviction integrity and reducing wrongful convictions in the future.
