Joyce House, mother of Paul House, joins petition to stop scheduled execution

Joyce House is fighting for clemency for Nick Sutton because she and her son believe that he is a changed man. When Paul was wrongfully convicted and sent to death row, he suffered from multiple sclerosis and was not given access to a wheelchair or walker. Nick would carry Paul around the prison and make sure he was taken care of.

Joyce truly believes that Nick has turned his life around and is a good person.

“As a mother, it was so difficult not to be able to care for my son. I owe so much to Nick for providing Paul with the care that I was unable to give him,” she says in the petition.
