9/29/17: Yakima Herald announces WTI tour event in Ellensburg, WA next week
ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Two death-row inmates who were exonerated will be in Ellensburg next week as part of a special presentation traveling across the state.
“Surviving Death Row: Exonerees Tell Their Stories” is set for 4 p.m. Tuesday at Central Washington University’s SURC Theatre at 400 E. University Way in Ellensburg. The presentation features Sabrina Butler-Smith and Randal Padgett, death row exonerees who will share their personal experience. It’s free and open to the public.
The event is part of a statewide tour brought by Witness to Innocence, a national organization led by and made up of exonerated death row survivors and their family.
